Alice Wood graduated from Camberwell College of Arts, London, with a degree in Illustration in 1990. She worked as an illustrator for several years before retraining as a homeopath. After having her son Alice went on to gain a Masters degree in Children's Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art, graduating in 2007. She then began working with Little Tiger Press writing and illustrating three picture books, and also illustrates the short story in the monthly magazine Horse + Pony. Alice lives and works in London, with her family and gang of pets.
