I'm Elyn Elvery (really Jamie Brand, but I suppose I shouldn't be saying that) and I'm in the process of writing a book that will (hopefully) be published.

It's about vampyrs and wyrwolves, kind of a parody of the traditional vampire story because the roles of the 'vampires' and 'werewolves' are switched, but I'm pretty sure it's a pleasant change from the cliche story about vampires -coughTwilightcough- Sorry, I'm not a big fan of the Twilight series. I'm sure it's wonderful and all, but I read the first book and it wasn't very statisfying to me, even though Mrs. Meyer put in several interesting ideas. (The main character was an idiot on one of those non-amusing ways. Ugh.) But yeah . . . I apologize for that little rant. Won't happen again . . . Unless you mention Harry Potter or some other series that ended that badly (like that's ever going to happen) - I've got to just up now.

Anyway! I'm currently a highschool student and doing pretty well (or so I hope) and I found this site mainly to find publishers and other people like that for when I'm done writing. Buit then again, witht he way I'm writing, that'll take forever. (My brother told me I could be the next J.R.R. Tolkein just by skimming over my prologue - er, detail wise anyway. That man could've taken twenty pages to descibe a simple silver spoon! Anyway . . .)

I'll just quit typing now in hopes that that action might redeem myself . . .
