Introducing Piper! Who was wildly welcomed into the Schroeder tribe after Max left us after 18 years. Did you ever feel like you could never love another dog (man, child, etc) as much as you loved the last one? Surprise...you can...and I do. Piper Lee (sounds more southern, and we are now southern) is the sweetest little dog. Here she is with her princess hat (bought for Halloween) and her basket of toys. Piper is a rescue dog (thru westie rescue) and maybe that is why she is incredibly gentle and grateful. Anyhow, I love her to bits and it was really hard to leave her home over Thanksgiving, even if she did have two wonderful sitters. I can't wait to see her.
Next time, I'll write about my grandchildren, who were very disappointed that Piper wasn't joining the troops for turkey, and are darling in their own right.
