Pamela Joy Licatino's inspiring book An Angel for Joey depicts the emotional, physical and psychological struggles of a young boy who suffers this debilitating condition. This book tells a moving and inspiring story about a little boy who not only lost his dad through sickness, but also lost his ability to speak. As Joey and his mother relocate to a new home, he finds himself having difficulty making new friends. All that changed when one day, a new family moves in next door, along with a boy who is Joey's age. Miracles begin to transpire as Joey is able to speak again. Many other miraculous events begin to surface as Joey finds himself and his mother being visited by angels.
