Tutu is a fun collection of five stories that turn beloved characters like Cinderella and Snow White into ballerinas named Ballerella and Snow Tights. In one story, there's a prima ballerina who changes places with a princess. In another, there's a ballet dancing Goldilocks who finds three ballet barres in the forest and tries them out for size. And based on "The Ugly Duckling," there's "The Klutzy Duckling," in which a klutzy ballet student becomes a swan when she lands the lead in her ballet recital. The main characters from the Ballet Friends series twirl through the stories, as they play the title roles. Princess Bianca is especially charming as a young girl who dreams of dancing, and with the help of a pauper, her dream comes true. Thoroughly entertaining for ballerinas of all ages.
