According to the prophecy, this entity was coming to Hampton to 'collect' children who had two things in common. The were all about to turn thirteen, and on the same day, October 30th.
The same day when for some unknown reason, in Hampton and several other locations around the world, the veil between dimensions would waiver and almost disappear, making passage into our world possible. But in the town of Hampton was where the veil between dimensions was the weakest. And this was where the ancient entity was going to try and cross over into our world.
In an attempt to keep the discovery of what was about to happen in the small town quiet, protocols were put in place to cut the town off from the rest of the world until the situation could be... 'contained'. But two friends, Thomas and Jesse along with Jesse's older sister and her friends, did discover what was about to happen. The only problem was...no one believed them!
No one believed them until strange things began to happen. Children vanished, and the residents of the small town began to have unexplained, terrifying experiences as they tried to save themselves and their children. As the eve of Halloween approached, the teenagers along with the other residents of Hampton struggled as they found themselves thrust into a world they never knew existed.
