My 7 year old read it in two days, she was so interested in it that I had to read it for myself . Wonderfully put together book.

The combination of images and small chunks of text had a nice effect. The book is absolutely huge, but it "reads" quickly.

The Caldecott Medal was announced yesterday for "The Invention of Hugo Cabret," by Brian Selznick.
