Kerri Sloane runs into trouble with the law after leaping off of one too many buildings in New York City, where she lives with her mother, who suffers from Alzheimer�s disease. A series of events forces her to leave her home and live with her father, who runs a ranch just outside missoula, Montana. At first, Kerri is bored, depressed, and misses her old life and the exhilarating rush of Parcour.

Then one day, everything changes. A glimmer of hope charges her heart, and her ability to make do with her new surroundings offers a new chance for her new four-footed friend, Cricket.

A troubled past, a difficult relationship needing time to heal, and a mother thousands of miles away. Will Kerri be able to find happiness at her father�s stables? Or will she find a piece of herself that had been missing all along?
