Kola,
I am glad to hear from independent comic creators.
Here are some tips:
Find places that want to sell your comic before you spend any money printing an actual comic.
Make a small Black and white comic from regular paper folded and stapled and bring them to potential vendors and ask them if they would
sell it for a modest amount.
If they sell you can offer a full size comic.
If you will be drawing the book yourself make sure you show it to people and get their opinions
on it.
You can also look into online services that offer free services like LULU.com they will let you set up your book and offer it for sale on the internet.
I hope that helps.
Feel free to ask me anything questions you have.
Good luck,
Noah
