I am a mother, and early childhood special education teacher. Over the years, I have written stories and poems for my children and students. I have been encouraged by my colleagues to publish, but haven't the slightest idea how to get started! I have been reading books, and taking writing classes to support and enhance my skill. I feel I have a very good understanding of the interests, developmental readiness, and cognitive functioning of preschoolers. I hope I will be able to make contacts that will enable me to share my work with children outside of my immediate circle of influence.
