I am a High School teacher (certified in Social Studies and English ,7-12) with thirty-one years experience in the classroom. From 1973-184, I was a police officer in Highwood,Illinois. I have been reading and buying books for fifty-five years.

I met Paul Neimark in 1973 (after the book and movie versions of She Lives! had appeared). I read two of his books about Jesse Owens, but I especially liked I, Pig, the autobiography of a tough, rebellious Chicago cop. I still own an autographed copy of that one.

Oh! Did I forget to mention that I've done about forty plays and murdr mystery dinners as an amateur actor? When people ask me what role I
played, I tell them "I was the fat, bald guy. It was a stretch, but I think I pulled it off!
