About Kimberly
Kim McKean worked as a teaching artist in the city of Chicago for four years, developing in-school artist residencies, youth and teen ensembles, summer camps, and facilitating arts integration workshops for the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, Lookingglass Theatre Company, and Chicago Children's Theatre. She has worked with the internationally acclaimed London based children's theater company, Oily Cart, devoted to creating site specific performances for children with autism. Kim is a company member of Trap Door Theatre in Chicago, where she appeared in half a dozen plays before travelling to Romania with the company in 2007. Kim currently resides in Los Angeles and has been seen in several independent films and a few television shows, most recently co-staring on ABC’s Private Practice. In the fall she will be entering the graduate acting program at University of California-Irvine.
