Since I grew up as an only child, I had to entertain myself. With only boys available as playmates, I chose to read books instead. Books were way better than boys back then. I didn't change my mind until I became a teenager.
When I was 10 my parents took me to a Dude Ranch for a vacation. Not only did I ride horses almost every day, I also climbed a mountain. All right a small one but it was called a mountain by the ranch staff. They should know; they lived there. I wrote stories as a youngster and had some things published in our local newspapers. Back then we had 2 daily newspapers so by now you realize it's been a long time since I was a child.
As an adult, I've had stories and articles published in children's magazines. I have also had stories, poems, essays and articles for adults published in magazines and anthologies.

I like to cook and work in the garden. Give me any chocolate and you will be my friend for life.I love my black cat.I also love going to art galleries - I met my husband at one.
