About Sue
I was born and grew up in South Africa. I have spent most of my life in the bush or travelling and live at present on a game farm in the eastern part of South Africa near Kruger National Park.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a three year teaching diploma and taught 8 to 12 year olds for many years. I have worked in management development training, wrote training programmes and ran a working group for endangered species of birds for the Endangered Wildlife Trust. At present I write freelance for a number of magazines and newspapers as well as writing children’s books for the 8 to 12 years age group.
I am passionate about travelling particularly in Africa and come from an adventurous family. My husband and I sailed the east coast of Africa for a year with our two children and this inspired me to write the book, ‘Skipper’s Angel’. I love the bush and wildlife and live amongst wild animals on a game farm where we often have orphan buck to look after and can see giraffe out of my study window.
I have a secret dream to find treasure some day and love old ruins and archaeology.
