I've enjoyed writing from a very young age but it has always been more of a hobby for me, I started writing mostly poems for my family. My first poem, written when I was nine was: Jesus's birthday is full of delight, and so is Christmas all through the night. Short and sweet, but that's where it started. Right now I'm trying to convert a poem I wrote when I was 15 into a children's book. Until now, I haven't had the time to take my writing seriously and put myself out there to see if I'm any good, so right now I'm giving it a try during the spare moments that I get while being a stay-at-home mom. My goal is to publish at least one children's book in my lifetime, hopefully sooner than later.
