Francesca Carabelli lives and work in Italy (Rome).
After a bachelor in Art and Literature from La Sapienza University, she start her courses in children's illustration (with Linda Wolfsgruber, Svjetlan Junakovic, Roberta Angeletti, Alessandra Cimatoribus, Eva Montanari) at the Sarmede School of Illustration.
She works regularly for scholastic publishers.
She has illustrated for the publishing house, Giunti (Il compleanno di Nello Porcello, 2006), Edizioni Paoline (Il castello di riso, 2006), Sfera Editore (Scioglilingua e indovinelli saputelli, 2005, La bella addormentata nel bosco, 2006, Hansel e Gretel, 2006), Pelangibooks (Where can I stay?, 2005), Harcourt (Going for gold, The bell in the well, Long long ago, 2007), O'Brien (The Witch Apprentice, 2007), San Paolo (Storie intorno al presepe, Il brutto anatroccolo, 2007).
