About Barbara
Been illustrating for books, magazines, newspaper, brochures, calendars, and other venues since 1982. Since 1997, I have spent 99% of my time doing art for kids' books, by choice, and with love. Now I also write, and I have my first book as author/illustrator out, Tex and Sugar. Before I was an illustrator, I spent ten years as a puppeteer and dollmaker. Now I am also a textile designer.
