HI! I've been writing ever since I was a child off and on. In my late twenties I began to really focus on my writing again and am now very determined to pursue what I've always loved on a professional level. I desire to excel at what I enjoy! I specialize in children's stories geared toward the 0-8 year old, but have series ideas that could span a larger age group. I have a special interest also in writing books for children with special needs as I have worked in this field professionally for 8+ years. I am a self-taught artist and along the road at some point, I'd like to invest more time in my artistic interests which include works in water color, pen and ink, pencil and ceramics. On a more personal note, I've been married for eighteen years, have three beautiful children and am very active in our local church. I currently run an in-home childcare business and am a rep for an all natural line of skin care. I also enjoy meeting and making new friends and run a women's coffee group here in my home town. So, it's an active and wonderful life! I am excited about my future and what God has planned for me. It's certainly an adventure. Dawn
