My name is Tamara Canty, and I am a twenty-six year old aspiring novelist, screenwriter and poet! I very much hope to touch the youth of the world for Christ. Especially young women. I love writing, because I feel that the written word is a very effective tool to convey and deliver valuable lessons. I am currently getting ready to graduate from the Institute of Children's Literature. And I so look forward to getting started on the next chapter of my life. Writing is a great passion that I knew that I wanted to be involved in from a very early age. I wrote my first complete novel when I was ten years old, and my first screenplay when I was twelve. I had the most wonderful instructor in the whole world. Her name is Christine Kohler, and she is also a memeber on Jacketflap! There are just some instructors that completely change your life, and perspective: Mrs. Kohler was fortunately one of those instructors. I thank God for her everyday, and I know that we will be great friends long after I leave the program. Just loving life and hoping to reach for great things as my life progresses. I'm looking forward to making plenty of friends in the Jacketflap community!
