28. First Saturday

I will be out at the First Saturday Artist Market in the Heights this weekend from 10-6.

Once this was dry I went back in and added lots of details.

I'm adding more matte medium to this piece because it's so thick with papers.

Thanks to my local Home Depot I was able to get some free scrap wood...yay! I did this using an old light bulb and red wire.

sealing up the letters with matte medium

I will have all this for sale and much, much more on Saturday. Stop by and say "Hi" if you are in the area.

33. Great Idea

I love this idea!

Saw off a slice of the Christmas tree trunk, label with the year's date, and make an ornament out of it! This would be cute with a family photo on the back!

39. Time To Play!

I don't know what motivated me to do this?? I have had the idea rolling around in my head/notebook for a long time. It's just something fun I did!

I did this using scraps of paper from my huge pile and a little bit of dye ink. If you interested in a print I will have it available in my Etsy shop soon.

42. Simple

I decided to do some paper animals in cars. Sometimes I need to do some really simple things and this was a good project for that. All paper...all goodness.

I have a few more but they aren't finished yet. I hope I remember to post them.

45. Carrot Car

I did this bunny and carrot car using paper scraps. I don't know what it is but I am just not loving the background. I can't let it go so I am probably going to change it.

I have several more animals and cars that I am working on so hopefully I will get the background figured out. What do you think?

48. I'm Your Biggest Pun Lover

I love a good pun...totally geek out on them. I did this using my scrap papers as patchwork on the fan blades. Then I just used black cardstock for the rest of the fan.
