1. Review: Cows Can’t Quack

Cows Cant Quack Cover1 205x300 Review: Cows Cant QuackCows Can’t Quack by Dave Reisman and illustrated by Jason Maas

Review by Chris Singer

About the author:

Author and Publisher Dave Reisman lives in Briarcliff Manor, NY with his wife and three kids and, when he’s not working on his kids’ books, works in Manhattan as a lawyer. Cows Can’t Jump was sparked by his love for reading bedtime stories with Eli, Rachel and Isaac over many colorful years.

About the book:

Come inside and sing, laugh and howl with the lively and diverse animals of Cows Can’t Quack. Young listeners and early readers, ages six months to six years, will be enchanted by the bright and expressive illustrations and the rhythmic and engaging text. This companion to the highly praised Cows Can’t Jump imparts a humorous and empowering tale of tolerance, respect and humility and is bound to become a beloved bedtime and storytime favorite for kids and parents alike.

My take on the book:

If you enjoyed Cows Can’t Jump, you’ll be equally pleased with Cows Can’t Quack. Again, like Reisman’s previous book, this is an entertaining read aloud because of its humorous illustrations and engaging text. Dads will have a lot of fun reading this over and over with their kids.
