Sdoia-Satz Web-Blog - Practicing Sucks!!!
1. Parenting Sucks, But It Doesn’t Have To!

Parenting Sucks, But It Doesn’t Have To! is the title of the newest book by Phyllis Sdoia-Satz and Barry Satz.  It will debunk much of today’s ideas about how parents should behave toward their children.  The Satzes believe that the American “family” is slowly being eroded by the “new” ideas about parenting.  In today’s world, parents wonder why their children tell THEM what they want, and how soon they want it.  Phyllis and Barry Satz believe, like much of the world, that this kiind of “child-raising” is just plain foolish.  They believe that children must be held in check, they must learn respect for their elders, and despite the speed with which the world is passing, they must learn how to behave. They believe that children today are a “Me” generation,  a generation of “throw-away”, and a generation that has no respect for its elders.  That has to stop!!   Parenting Sucks, But It Doesn’t Have To! is the second in the “Sucks” series.  It will be available around September 2011. Look for it in the stores.
