1. Caricatures - Celebrity Tom Cruise

I can't take much credit for this one. This is a celebrity caricature done by my best friend. He loves doing caricatures and has done them at several area art fairs, sporting events and private parties. He asked me to post this here on his behalf.

To see more of his work visit his portfolio site (which I built for him.)

2. Spider Illustration

I finished my 'Spider' Illustration. I really challenged myself on this one. I'm trying to create more complete scenes including the main subject, secondary characters, background elements, lighting etc. I also tried to do a more painterly-style as well instead of my usual vector art. It was much harder and more frustrating to move out of my comfort zone. I'm happy with the result but I need more practice with this type of illustration.

Let me know what you like or (even what you don't).

3. Mini Whale

I was inspired to create this illustration using my whale character by a poem, "Mini Whale" by Carrie Heyes. You can view her reading the poem in this video clip. Haven't had a chance to work on this week's challenge, but I'd thought you like to see my latest.

4. Old West

When I first heard of this week's challenge, I quickly sketched out a concept I thought would be good. Here is my original drawing.

Then I tried to do an illustration which didn't exactly turn out as I had hoped. It just never captured the raw power of my original. So then I though I would just combined the sketch with some additional vector art and some raster effects. The result is below.

I think I still prefer my original concept sketch. What do you think?

5. BUNNYGO - Interactive Narrative/Flash MiniGame

This is the first part of three-part interactive narrative that follows my cute, original characters through a story arc while featuring voices, player decisions, and mini Flash games. Of course I have only completed the first part. Here is Episode 1.
It fits right in with this week's 'Bunny' Challenge as it features a bunny main character. I hope you enjoy it.

6. My Little Pony

I'm getting in just under the wire, but here is 'My Little Pony' illustration. I used my signature skewed design. And of course it has to be pink.
