Cakespy left a kind comment on my blog, allowing me to find her blog and ETSY shop...so now I'm blogging them. Look at those Dee-lic-ious cupcakes on her blog! Love her ETSY shop too.
I recently updated my ETSY shop and have more to add finally. It has been on my t0-do list for quite awhile. If you've never visited ETSY...go and visit..but be warned, the all handmade item site is very addictive. I think it's one of the best venues online to see wonderful handmade items at excellent prices. It costs very little to have a shop there. They take a percentage from sales, and only a small amount to post each item.

I don't have cable. I gave it up last summer, there's never anything good on in summer anyway. But I never got it back. I haven't really missed it. I get the really good shows on iTunes. It really limits the amount of time I sit around doing nothing but staring at an illuminated box. Of course, I still have Netflix... oh well.

Who hasn’t heard these words in their lifetime…
“Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale/A tale of a fateful trip…” ?
Sure, everyone claims they “hate it“, they think it’s “stupid“… but everyone has seen at least one episode. Everyone instantly recognizes the theme song. Every guy has had the Ginger/Mary Ann debate. Everyone has questioned why did the Howell’s bring every dollar of their wealth and a friggin’ chest of clothes on a three-hour tour, but Gilligan just brought that one red shirt. Everyone has wondered how the professor can make a washing machine out of bamboo and coconuts, but he can’t fix a two-foot hole in an otherwise unharmed boat.
Screw Lost, Gilligan’s Island is why we love televison.

One of the problems of having an indoor Television ariel is the possibilty of interference from a small budgie, canary or other pet bird.

SFG: Television
This week's theme: TelevisionFor you newcomers, the SFG Challenge runs Thursday to Thursday, and was created to offer every member an opportunity to stretch their creative muscles and post their interpretations on a specific theme. It's a lot of fun!
Be sure to label your illustrations with the appropriate labels as well. I prefer you label your entries with your name or screenname, and the challenge label, SFG: Television.
Remember, this is a completely voluntary challenge designed solely to stimulate creativity and promote participation. Please don't hesitate to post your other work as normal.
We still have SFG T-Shirts available in every size. Show your brand loyalty and wear SFG!
I can't stress enough how much I hope you take the time to get involved over at the SFGForum. There are a million threads waiting for you to start them! Good stuff over there folks, a great way to interact with and get to know your fellow SFG'ers on a more personal level.
The next challenge begins Thursday, June 7th, 2007.
Challenge yourselves SFG'ers and have a great week!
Wow! What a sweet compliment! I am really glad you like my store, but I have to agree that Etsy is ridiculously addictive! I love those blue earrings in your shop...
