The days of not having the Justice League on television are coming to an end, as it was announced today that Justice League Action, a new quarter hour animated series starring the team is coming to Cartoon Network.

Swiftly following yesterday’s news that Batman: Arkham Knight would be rated “M”, Rocksteady has released a brand new trailer that cements the overall premise of the capper to the developer’s “Arkham trilogy” (Origins doesn’t count according to them).
And yes, that is John Noble (Fringe) playing the Scarecrow.

Artist Darwyn Cooke has created a new short from the Batman Beyond animated series. According to The Huffington Post, it first premiered during the Warner Bros. panel at WonderCon.
The video embedded above features a fight between Bruce Wayne’s successor Terry McGinnis and what looks to be a red-eyed version of the original Caped Crusader. Longtime Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy plays the elderly Wayne and Will Friedle reprises his role as McGinnis.

Another stumble toward cultural nilhilism. I’d say there’s not much farther to fall, but somehow the bar keeps getting lowered.
An R rated Batman film is a bad idea. An R rated animated Batman film is just sad.
