Children’s author and instructor for the National Writing for Children Center, Lila Guzman will be speaking at the Louisiana Association of School Librarians on Jan. 26, 2008. That’s tomorrow!
Her presentations will include the following:

11:00: “Cultural Diversity on the Shelves”

We’re pleased to welcome children’s author Lila Guzman to the faculty of the Children’s Writers’ Coaching Club.
Lila Guzman writes children’s fiction and nonfiction, young adult novels, and adult-level short stories from her home north of Austin, Texas.
Guzman has won a number of awards, including Honorable Mention from the National League of American Pen Women, The National TCARABook Award, and the Arizona Authors Literary Award. She holds a Ph.D. in Spanish and a commission in the United States Navy.
