4/17/2010 Kate Russell said: I first read this at school and loved it then as I do now. It's the story of a 12 year old pickpocket in Dickensian London, who picks an old man's pockets just minutes before his victim is murdered. What had Smith stolen that was worth the old man's life? You'll have to read it to find out. :-)
