Book Description
Sleeping beauty (French La belle au bois dormant) was first published by Charles Perrault in 1697. Before Perrault's publication Tales of Mother Goose, where Sleeping Beauty was included, the tale was orally transmitted. Mainly, the story deals with seven good wishes from seven godmothers and a bad one given by an old fairy, who felt that the Princess' father, the King, was neglecting her.
