While I think it would be infinitely better without the canned soundtrack and just some well-chosen sound effects, I still enjoyed Blip, a short film created by Ben Harper and Sean Mullen in their 3rd year at the Irish School of Animation.
That’s what credits are going to look like in the future.

Hey guys,
Thanks very much for posting our film on your website. It is very much appreciated. I understand your feelings about the soundtrack. We had some problems throughout production with our sound. The original composer made a bit of mess with the track, forcing us to rerecord a new track the night before the hand in. So the current track isn’t the one we intended for the film.
@ matt..we also have to apologise for the credits. For some reason, the video was truncated/edited on Vimeo. We do have proper credits on there, but for some unexplained reason the page with our contact info is the only thing that shows. If you watch closely at the end, you can see the credits page flicker before the contact page comes up.
You can see the full credits on youtube, which is exactly the same file upload. It’s kind of strange.

Again, thanks for posting our film.

I believe this film is dangerous, and must be destroyed. The idea of living in a purple world is a scary thing. I will not sleep tonight.
Great job, though! And yes, although the soundtrack isn’t the best, at least it’s not terrible & distracting. I saw a student animation film fest where the soundtrack really was the thing that lacked on almost every piece. You want to let it go, they’re not sound engineers, but jesus…
Kudos for compensating for someone else last minute, and doing the best you could under the circumstances!
