I'm also an illustrator and graphic artist. My first book cover ever, over ten years ago, was for a children's book series. I did six covers and interior illustration for little girls and horses -- it was so much fun! Maybe I'll post them. ;-)

Although it's much different than what I do now, I truly enjoy it. My background is in art, before I became a professional writer/editor, and was commissioned for several public art pieces for the city of Long Beach, CA. (You can still see my murals there today!) I also had an art gallery there and was committed to the art scene. It was a grand time... a poor time, but very inspiring.

I still do graphic art, for our website: http://wow-womenonwriting.com and for magazines such as Maxim, Transworld Skateboarding, Transworld Surf, etc. (very action-sports dominated) It's sooo different from my website, lol.

But, I enjoy all aspects and have my hubby to thank for encouraging me. I know what you mean to be married to a 'great guy'.

I don't have any kids, but I have a cat named Noodle, who's my baby at the moment.

I'm going to check out your books! Your covers look super. ;-) Keep up the good work. You're going to go far.
