I am a writer and editor living in Southern California. I enjoy writing for children best--my first picture book is coming out in 2008 with Sylvan Dell. I'm also writing a series of picture books for the educational market.


I also have a lot of other manuscripts floating around with publishers or shoved in my filing cabinet that I'd really like to send out--someday.


My adult work includes more than 400 published articles in print and online. I specialize in the topics of parenting, food, and health. I'm also an editor, fact-checker, and whatever else helps to pay the bills!


In my next life, I hope to have my cookbooks and non-fiction novel published.
