I feel a visceral connections to words and images. From my earliest memories, I remember "reading" to my brother and sister, making up the stories, because I didn't yet know how to read, and drawing illustrations to my parents Readers Digests Condensed Books when I did know how. A truly inspiring story did what they do to people like me, I would make up my own drawings for the stories.

Now I'm lucky enough to have found some success in the publishing world. My drawings and words are in publications around the world for children, adults, calligraphers, egg artists, crafters, and most of all readers.

I've been gifted with wonderful critique groups, one I'm still active in: www.Yellapalooza.com and very talented, wonderful people in the business of children's literature. I hope to be at this till my last day, it gives me such satisfaction and joy.
