I am a single mother of 2 girls and 2 boys. I have always loved children's literature. My former husband is a citizen of the Kingdom of Tonga, so my children are of Tongan discent. Our lives have been exciting and unusual. My mother was a writer, and now my daughter is as well. I have over 30 years of illustration experience. I started work professionally as a drafter, and did about 3 years as a technical editor, before deciding that freehand illustration was much more to my liking. I started my own business as an illustrator and publications coordinator; which I did for about 18 years. I make custom greeting cards for fun and enjoy cooking, sewing, artwork, music, family and church activities. My family are my very best friends and we love to get together to visit, sing and play all kinds of games.
