I'm a retired teacher and persuing many dreams from continuing my art and writing stories of different genres. I taught in an early childhood setting. My teaching experiences were in first and second grade. Grants that I wrote and received helped me provide a great learning evironment for my students. I also worked hard to earn National Board Cerification for Teachers. I have a masters degree in reading. I love books for young children and always loved to read to my students. I love the performing arts and loved bringing my own plays to life on our school stage. So many of my students were inspired to read by acting out the wonderful stories they read. I am writing two narratives about my grandparents that will be a companion to each other though they stand alone. At this time I'm looking for an illustrator in hopes to publish or self publish.
