Kris , thanks for the message. I'll check to see if I pushed a wrong button on the blog. Asian pears, thanks. I saw them in the movie "Ghost" and I think I remembered the actor calling them "Japanese pears". That was a long time ago. I don't remember seeing them in grocery stores in Texas, but that ... more

Annie-- yes, I know Anastasia. She came to speak to one of my classes several years ago and then at a poetry festival we hold in Texas. She's lovely-- and a force of energy!
