I am Marci Stilllerman, I write for children and young adults. I ahil from
Chicago but live with husgand JAck in Rancho Mirage,California. I have published
stories in Highlights, the Cricket group of maazines, the Children's Better
Health Inst magazies (Jack & Jill, Child LIfe, etc) and most of the other
kid magazines as well as the children's pages of the Los Angeles Times and
Xian Science Monitor. My award winning book, NINE SPOONS, a pictre book for
ages seven through adult was published in 1999 and is still in print and
published in foreign countries. It is a story from the Holocaust, of courage
and hope in a terrible time in the world. Its purpose is to honor all who
try to make the world a better place for children. My first Young Adult
book, SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAPPENED ON KENMORE will be published by WestSide
Books in October, 2009. I am working an a Y A book about cancer and a collection
