Nuala Galbari was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the daughter of a Royal Navy Lieutenant-Commander. She studied Hospitality Management in her native Belfast, and later moved to London to pursue a career in aviation. In 1980, she moved to the United States,and continued studies in fine arts, creative writing and design at Normandale College and the Minnesota School of Business.In 1991, she joined a Minnesota advertising agency where she held the positions of Manager, Media Relations, and Editorial Writer. Nuala is now the owner of a media consulting company and writes regularly for Pleasant Living magazine and Airways magazine. She is a member of the Authors Guild and the Society of Book Writers and Illustrators.She lives in Virginia.
