I have always been fascinated with dark writing, both reading and writing it. Beginning in my early teens I couldn't get enough Stephen King, Dan Simmons, Robert McCammon and all of the other great horror writers that forged the greatest years of the genre.

In the late eighties I discovered Clive Barker's Books Of Blood and realized I had discovered the author who would become my favorite. His works have influenced me more than anyone in literature. In fact I candidly admit that traces of his influence can be seen in my own writing.

I can not say why I am drawn to dark writing. Whenever I tap into my subconscious and let the words flow there is a fair amount of darkness that pours forth. This path has led to a few successes lately with more hopefully to follow. My current list of accomplishments can be found on my Amazon author page.
