I'm a former daily journalist and seasoned corporate communicator who has been writing in one form or another for nearly four decades. In addition to newspapering and corporate PR, I've also written, edited and taken photographs for several corporate newsletters. I've written countless marketing communication pieces, including sales brochures and company background/capabilities pieces, and have crafted speeches for senior government ministers and corporate executives. In recent years, I've turned my hand to writing fiction and since October 12, 2010, the Hamilton Spectator and Newspapers In Education have been serializing my first novel, 'Adventures in Shroomville, the abduction at Hedgehog Hill.' In late November, the novel will be published in soft-cover by Manor House Publishing.

Next on the agenda is a short story about growing up in 1940s and 50s Ottawa. It is currently under way.
