Tonia Thorne is a published illustrator. Some of the published credits of Tonia Thorne include Specials!: History: Economic, Social and Cultural Change (Specials), Making Music (Ideas Bank Series) (Ideas Bank Series).
In 1998, Tonia travelled to Northern India to illustrate an educational book for SECMOL who are based in the Himalayan region of Ladakh. She worked closely with J Chilton who had created the book, also with a Buddhist Monk and local students to keep the Illustrations in keeping with the local culture. The book is used throughout schools in Ladakh.
Tonia has also worked for many years in Animation. She was a Renderer on some episodes of the Beatrix Potter Series, "The Bear", "Prince Cinders" and " The Bear". A Colour Stylist on "Percy the Park Keeper" "Angelina Ballerina" and "Toot & Puddle" and "The Cramp Twins". She worked as a Designer on "Charlie & Lola" series 1 & 2 as well as the Christmas Special.
