23. Comment on Nigerian International Book Fair- an opportunity to understand the market better by Chima Njoku-Latty

Hi,
I’m a Nigerian writer, whose debut novel, Thoroughly Modern People is out and selling here in the UK and in the US via The publisher website http://www.mydestinyltd.com and also via amazon.com for US readers and Amazon.co.uk for readers from all European countries.

A beautifully moving story, Thoroughly Modern People by Chima Njoku-Latty explores the power of words, both spoken and unspoken, and how they can hurt, heal, and sometimes cause misunderstandings that can derail a life. Devastated by what she believes to be her father’s disinterest in her, Arabella throws herself into relationships with men who are wrong for her. She’s hoping to make a go of it with Max, who is still pining for his ex wife. Interconnected with their lives is Eleanor, who can’t grieve her husband because she believes he had an affair. As these people grapple for happiness, they come face to face with the real truth of their lives and the values they hold dear. A love story for our times, Thoroughly Modern People will hold you captivated.

I am interested in findin out more abt the Nigerian book fair and how/if I can promote my book there at this late stage.

I look fwd to hearing back from you.
Regards
Chima

Dear Friends , Fans and Publishers,
My name is S. A. Abakwue. I am an African author in the U.S. I have lived in this foreign land for almost thirty years. I began to write when I was a sophomore in college. That was in the summer of 1983.
I have twenty one published books on the market. Pretty soon, my book number twenty two will be on the market, too. I write not only in English language, but also in one of the best global languages, known as IGBO LANGUAGE. I write fiction, books on self-empowerment, variety of poems, including love poems. I write romance novels, too. My novels can easily be adapted into major movies. For example, (1) VILLAGE OF THE JUNGLE, (2) DIRTY SOULS: DEVILS AT THE GATE OF GOD, (3) DELIVERANCE: THE BURIED CHARM, etc.
As my fans, you would be delighted to know that the body of my works has been recommended to the Nobel Foundation, many times.
I would love to do business with some great African Publishers and Film Makers in our Africa. To this end, please feel free to have a look at my books online: http://www.amazon.com.
Let me hear from you pretty soon.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
S. A. Abakwue,( African author).
