Patrizia Donaera e "L'officina del gioiello"

A union of  outstanding artists, dedicated to giving people the pleasure of wearing art in the form of jewellery.  Created with true passion, the artists use their unique, highly regarded artistic skills to create pieces of the utmost quality; as special as the person who will be wearing them.  All the jewellery is made by hand and great care is taken in every detail, both in the choice of natural stones and in the finishing.

All jewellery is guaranteed with the workshop individual series number and with the original signature of the artist.

All parts of the jewellery which display the artist's own work are made by hand with raw wood from Italy, using a special technique that ensures the art and images never diminish with time. Each piece is signed by the artist, Patrizia Donaera, on the back, to ensure true authenticity. The jewellery is limited edition. Each piece is unique; we guarantee no duplicates or copies.

14. New Book : The Prince and The Pauper

A new book " The Prince and the Pauper " has been recently released.
I illustrated the English novel written by Mark Twain for the Korean publishing house Agaworld.

Set in 1547, the novel tells the story of two young boys who are identical in appearance : Tom, a pauper who lives with his abusive family in London and Prince Edward, son of King Henry VIII.

" The Prince and the Pauper "  is a traditionally book done in watercolor with touch-ups of colored pencil and pastel.

I have a new work to share with you.
This is my latest little book illustrated for Ellea Eurolingue, School of foreign languages based in  Italy, my private client.

So here are some illustrations from the book, I hope you enjoy it!

24. Welcome to my Blog - Let me introduce myself

I am an illustrator and have been working in the field of children’s books for 22 years

During those years I have worked with stimulating publishing houses and lovely people whom I would like to thanks for their guidance with their talent and professional skills.

In particular, I would like to mention Bernand Girodroux, the much lamented Artistic Director of Nathan in Paris.

I would like to thank Linda Cole, for whom I started working in 1994 (at the time she was Design Director at  Dorling Kindersley in  London), and in recent years I was extremely pleased to work with other London-based publishing houses: Marshall and Pinwheel.

Mary Cartwright , Art Director at Usborne of London: during the 2000 edition of the Bologna book fair, she noticed my works  at  "Illustrator's Exhibition" and gave me the opportunity to illustrate 7 books of the Beginners series. I would also like to thank all the designers – Zoe Wray in particular – and authors – especially Anna Milbourne – who helped me in illustrating that series.

Finally, I would like to mention two fantastic clients -  Agaworld  (Korea) and Denise Ryan & Associates (Australia)  - with whom I have just illustrated 3 books. As soon as I receive my advance copies of the books, I will certainly show them in my blog.
