1. Follow me on Tumblr

Hi everyone, I’ve been posting my work mostly on tumblr lately, so I’ve decided to retire this blog and keep all my art updates in one spot. If you want to see new things that I am working on, head over to my tumblr. Thanks!

2. Flower girls

I had the sudden urge to draw lots of flowers and lines so I put these together.

Sketches for those who enjoy seeing the mess my illustrations come from:

Some cute kids. I’m just now realizing that everything I do involves blue and green colors. Let’s pretend thats my “style”.

Sketch:

I’m such a messy sketcher when it comes to personal illustration. I get an idea and I throw it onto paper in the most sloppy way possible. It’s the finished product that counts the most, right?

5. Balloons

This is an illustration I did for promotional postcards. I’m not sure if I’m going to use it yet. I probably will though. I tend to over think these things.

6. More girls

Here are some colorful girl doodles that I keep forgetting to post here. I should doodle some boys too.

7. Girls

I will forever be terrible at coming up with names for posts. I wish I had more to say when finally posting here, but there’s not much to report on. I’ve been working a lot lately, so no time for any personal pieces. The project I am working on has been a lot of fun though, so I’m not complaining.

I guess part of the fun of having an art blog is that I should be able to just post a picture and leave it at that, but I still feel the need to write something. ANYTHING. So here I am, writing nonsense and gibberish so my art isn’t lonely.

9. 2 weeks in the UK

Last week I came home from my first time out the United States. I went to Edinburgh and London and I’m definitely in love with both cities.

13. Princess and a silly frog

I had the opportunity to do some spot illustrations for several children’s fairytales. I’ll be posting the images over the next couple of days.

14. Party time

Here’s a thing I started ages ago and finally got around to finishing up this week. I find it really difficult to continue working on something I haven’t looked at in ages, but at the same time I hate letting stuff sit around unfinished.

This actually looks like the lamest party ever.

15. Fish Island

I spent way too much time on this, and half of that time involved me staring at it for hours and not actually doing anything. I think that’s a sign that it’s time to move on to something new.

16. Sketchbook stuff

Sometimes I draw things for the sake of inking them later. There’s something about inking lines that’s really therapeutic and relaxing.
