I opened up a new etsy store.   I decided to get rid of some of my vintage stuff and I think I will be throwing some original art in there too.    So far, it has been really fun.  Taking the pictures of the vintage items is an art in itself.   Here is the link: http://www.etsy.com/people/ThisandThat4U

Here are some photos and a video of my favorite place in the world. If you can't see the video, it is of Cave point and the waves crashing against the rock. It really is awe inspiring and makes you feel a little small. If I win the lottery, this is were I am moving too.

I am still to busy to work on any art so I am going to post a photo of me and a baby tiger. This photo was taken back in the 80's. I am unsure of the exact date. I just love tigers.

We just got back from our trip to Door County. We had a really relaxing time. This is my favorite place and is called Cave Point. The waves are beautiful coming in and I love the rocky coast line.

We are looking forward to going back in a few years.

Here is my favorite friend. She is a wonderful siamese and helps me illustrate. When I am trying to use my light table, guess who is laying on it? Then when I go to work on my drafting board, she is laying on that. What would I do without my helper. :)

I am getting a little side tracked from illustrating but took the day off to bake. I had some blue berry filling that the Amish made and wanted to make some coffee cake. Here is what I ended up with. I hope it tastes good as I never baked it before.

Here is Rainbow. She is in my office and tries to help me work. We are unsure how old she is. She is a Severe Macaw.

I just opened up an Etsy store to sell my rubber stamps and greeting cards. I just set it up so I only have a few stamps on there. The rubber stamps were design by me and my Mum. The Bunny is drawn by me and I used a stuffed rabbit I had as a small child as a model. I still have that stuffed toy too.

Today we went to the last fair of the season. It is in the next county to us but we love going. It is rather large and really fun. I tried my first deep-fried, candy bar. It was good but I could feel my arteries hardening while I was eating it. :o) I did share it with hubby as I did not want the whole thing.

We saw some draft horses too and here is a lovely picture of one beautiful animal. Isn't he great? They were showing them when we got to their stables. My husband and son were a little afraid of them as they are rather large animals. I just think they are awesome.

It was a fun time but I am tired now so I doubt any art will get done today. I am hoping to finish up one more Halloween design tomorrow and then I am going to start some Christmas designs for a company. I will post the Halloween design once I finish.

Hello:

School will be starting soon and then I will be in full force with my art. I do work during the summer but hey, it is hard as the weather is so nice out and I love spending time with my son. So, once school starts, the work begins. I have so many ideas to do. I am working on some Halloween designs now and then I will work on some Christmas designs after that. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to do art work as I love doing pumpkins and goblins. It is great fun.
