There is “No Escape” from the Ocular Invasion of Emory Allen!
Besides, who would want to escape? His typographic experiments that turn into illustrations, like “Eye Spy” below, are a real inspiration!
By accident or design, Allen seems to be carrying on the good work begun by Milton Glaser and the fellows at Pushpin Studios in the late ’50s – early’60’s.

These are very imaginitive works.
Hey, I know that guy! Emory was an intern with us back when I was working for Planet Propaganda. It's been a lot of fun to watch his work develop in the years since. He's currently working at MAKE in Minneapolis, if my info is up-to-date!
He's also a Robots + Monsters contributor! We love Emory, one of the best young illustrators working today.
These are really great. I love stuff that you have to look at twice. :o)
