Artist Scott Teplin has created this superb series of 26 letterpress dream-houses, each designed from the letters of the alphabet: Alphabet City. The prints are $80 each, and the entire set is available in a bound volume for $2000.

80 bucks? Seems a little steep.
Thanks for posting this!
isaacbidwell: That’s a fair statement. We had to keep the prices at $80 because of all the work involved. These are hand-made letterpress prints (NOT inkjet copies) – after which each is individually masked and airbrushed in very small editions (the R pictured above has 24 prints in the edition). Same with the book – all hand-bound and only 26 copies exist.
Oh letterpress and then hand embellished? Now that’s top notch!
That bound book sounds beautiful, as well.
I always like to see what artists do with those 26 letters from time to time. Really fun stuff.
Ah, hand touched, makes more sense. We do some letterpress stuff and if not for our connection, I could only imagine what the prices would be (for an ed. of only 24). We tend to do a hundred or more to make our money back.
Keep up the good work and have a nice christmas.
Isaac
