They asked me to do some promotional videos for my book.
I came up with these instead. Life is too short not to have your legs eaten by legwarmers. I’m inclined to name them The Electric Blue Boogaloo.
Part One:
Part Two:
Part Three:
Part Four:
I have fun.
Such fun, Betsy! I can just hear the room full of kids laughing each time you start walloping your ‘audience’. And the legwarmers would make Big Bird proud to call you part of the family. The perfect touch! It’s a great story – cant wait to share it with a roomful of kids!
You are my hero. I hope the book does fabulously well.
Good dancing there!
You are so wonderfully creative and talented. Love the dancing -love the the walloping the audience takes even more. Can’t wait to get my hands on your book. CONGRATS!!!
Trop drôle!!!! Hilarant!!!!
Reasons why I love these videos:
1. Kids will love them
2. There’s four of them
3. They show that you don’t need a big budget and fancy software to make something awesome
4. They take place in an empty office
5. Clicking the mouse to start the song
6. I can imagine playing these, then reading Giant Dance Party to kids and having a fairly incredible story time
Ahahaha! I love it that you’re so serious.
P.S. Do I detect some real dance training behind the goofiness? Cuz I couldn’t pull this off.
Insofar as 4th grade Scottish Highland dancing counts as “training”, sure! We’ll go with that. Makes me sound good.
If I could “like” a comment I’d “like” the heck out of this.
