1. Count & Discover treasure Chest Review and Giveaway

Since Kik is back in school, I've been looking for fun and creative new ways to keep my other two kiddos entertained.  Bid is easy, we've started a special Mommy School.  But Co is a bit harder.  As part of "recess"  we've started incorporating educational toys into our family play.

One of his new favorites is the Count & Discover Treasure Chest from Baby Einstein and Kids II.

The Count and Discover Treasure Chest is a bright and colorful toy that is super baby friendly.  To play, you drop the coins in the chest, and then depending on what mode it's set on, the chest lights up and talks to you.   There are three different modes of play.  The chest either recognizes the color, the shape on the token, or the # of coins that have been dropped in the chest.

Co loves trying to put the tokens in the treasure chest.  He can't always do it, but he tries.  When it does work, he loves watching the sea creatures light up and make noise.  When he misses, it's usually because he knocks it over and spills out the coins.  He thinks that's funny too!

Even though Kik is 6, she loves playing with the Count & Discover Treasure Chest with Co.  The Treasure Chest speaks in English, French, and Spanish, and she loves practicing her #'s and colors in different languages.

To Buy - Capture your little one's imagination with the Count & Discover Treasure Chest from Baby Einstein. It introduces Baby to counting, shapes and colors in English, Spanish and French. The lid is easily opened to retrieve the coins, and it features classic melodies and Fun Ocean sounds.
  • Manufacturer's Suggested Age: 6 Months and Up
  • Educational Focus: Shapes and Colors,
  • Teaching Aid, Motor Skills, Letters and Numbers
  • Hand Wash Only
The Count & Discover Treasure Chest retails for $19.99, and can be purchased online and in stores nationwide.  For more info on this and other great products, check out Kids II on twitter.

To Win - They are giving away a Count and Discover Treasure Chest to one of you!

2. Doc McStuffins: Friendhip is the Best Medicine DVD

Tomorrow is the last day of the first week of school. I have mixed feelings about this. I'm excited because its been kind of stressful trying to get all 3 kids on a new schedule. But I'm not thrilled that the long weekend is going to mess up that schedule.

If you're like me and going to need something to keep the kiddos entertained over the break, check out one of Disney Channels newest releases “Doc McStuffins: Friendship Is The Best Medicine” DVD.

About the show - "Doc McStuffins" is an imaginative animated series about Doc McStuffins, a six-year-old girl who communicates with and heals stuffed animals and broken toys out of her backyard playhouse clinic. Assisting Doc with the day-to-day operations at the clinic are her much-loved friends: Stuffy, an overly proud dragon; Lambie, her cuddly best friend; Hallie, a jolly and caring hippo nurse; Squeakers, an alarmist squeaky toy fish; and Chilly, a snowman who spends a lot of time getting check-ups at the clinic. Whether it's a case of loose stitching, low batteries or a blow-up toy who's sprung a leak, Doc and her pals are always there to lend a helping hand, while imparting to young viewers the importance of taking care of oneself and others. Each episode features two 11-minute stories and an original song and showcases the hallmarks of great Disney storytelling – fantasy and wish fulfillment.

The DVD contains five full length episodes, each consisting of two 11-minute stories, that highlight some of Doc’s favorite toys.
  • ENGINE NINE, FEELIN’ FINE! - Doc and her toys learn a lesson about dehydration after discovering that Donny's toy fire engine has run out of water. ·
  • THE RIGHT STUFF - Stuffy rips his tail and tries to hide it from Doc and the other toys and learns that anyone can get hurt – even brave dragons. · C
  • AUGHT BLUE-HANDED – When a mysterious rash of blue spots breaks out among some of the toys in the clinic, Doc traces the "Mystery Pox" back to Donny's toy monster, Glo-Bo who had been finger-painting earlier in the day and forgot to wash his hands. Glo-Bo is voiced by Jim Belushi. ·
  • TO SQUEAK, OR NOT TO SQUEAK – Doc helps a plastic toy duck get his voice back after his squeaker pops out. ·
  • BEN/ANNA SPLIT! - When Doc's huggy monkey doll Ben loses the velcro patch that attaches him to his sister Anna, Doc glues it back on and tells him that he will have to stay in the clinic overnight while it dries. ·
  • THAT’S JUST CLAW-FUL - Doc prescribes physical therapy for her crab bath toy Hermie after she reattaches one of his claws that has fallen off. ·
  • THE RIP HEARD ROUND THE WORLD - While dancing with Lambie, Doc accidentally rips a hole in her fur. ·
  • WALKIE-TALKIE TIME - Doc diagnoses a toy walkie-talkie with "Staticosis" and helps find his missing antenna so he can communicate clearly again. ·
  •  DARK KNIGHT - During a sleepover with all of her toys, Doc discovers that Sir Kirby is afraid of the dark and prescribes a night light to cure him of the "Dark Willies." ·
  • HALLIE GETS AN EARFUL - When Hallie is having trouble hearing, Doc gives her a hearing test and realizes that she has extra cotton stuck in her ears.

Bid loves that the stuffed animals come to life. I like Doc McStuffins because the main character is a cute, nice girl whose main focus is helping others.

To Buy - Doc McStuffins: Friendship Is The Best Medicine DVD has an SRP of $19.99, but you can get it right now on Amazon for just $13.86 .  It was released on Aug. 21st and is a great show for preschoolers.

3. Kidorable LadyBug Rain Boots Review & a 20% off coupon code.

The school year always brings an end to the hot dry season in Utah.  Temperatures cool off, and we finally get some rain.  And if there's rain we must play in it.

My favorite place to get children's rain products is Kidorable.com.

They have a fun selection of umbrellas, raincoats,

 and even backpacks.

Rain gear can be uncomfortable.  Because Kidorable products are so whimsical and fun not only will my girls wear their gear, but they ask too.

Since we'll be walking Kik to the bus stop this year, I thought that Bid needed her very own pair of rain boots.  And since every walk we ever take turns into a bug hunt, I thought the Ladybug Boots would be perfect for her.

When we got them in the mail, she insisted on putting them on and modeling them right away.

She loves them!

They are always quite an attention grabber.  Someone almost always stops me to ask where we got the girls such cute rain stuff.

To Buy -  Not only are Kidorable Boots adorable, but they are durable as well.  Kik has had the same pair of boots for more than a year and they are still in great condition.  The boots retail for $29.99, but are on sale right now until Aug. 31st for 20% off.  Just enter code SCHOOL888 at checkout on Kidorable.com!

4. Pediped Black Bailey Shoes - Back 2 School Must Have

My daughter has been walking around the house with a video camera the last couple days, recording everything.  Because I want to support her creativity, she is going to introduce us to today's Back 2 School Must Have - Pediped Shoes.

When we received the Flex Bailey shoes in the mail, Kik was so excited.  Until she found out they were Bid's size.

Luckily Bid loves them too.

They are a classic, black, mary-jane style, and great for school or even church.  The shoes are made from leather and have a flexible sole.  My only complaint is the first time she wore them, she didn't put socks on.  And they turned her toes black.  She thought it was awesome.

To Buy -  Besides the Bailey shoes, Pediped just debuted its Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. It features an innovative line of athletic shoes featuring Ultra Light Technology™, a collection of waterproof cold weather boots and more than 80 new design offerings. You can buy these and more on Pediped.com.

For more info, you can sign up to become a Pediped insider, or follow them on facebook and twitter.

6. BeyondBedding - Jungle Time Kids Bedding Set Review and Giveaway

Our house has undergone a few transitions over the past few weeks.  The walls are sparkling, our love seat has been replaced by a side chair, and our flowerbeds no longer make our house look like its been abandoned for the last year.  But the biggest change of all has taken place in the kids bedrooms.

Even though Baby Co is only 7 months old, Bid and Kik have always shared a room.  Lately Bid has thought it was a good idea to jump on Kik's head and wake her up every morning at 6.  So the twin beds have been taken down, rooms rearranged, and bunk beds put up.

All of the rearranging does have a plus side.  I've found that the easiest way to freshen up a room is to change out the Kids Bedding.  And one of my favorite places to shop for bedding is BeyondBedding.com.  I love that at BeyondBedding you can get most of their styles in a variety of sizes.

As a mother of an infant, a toddler, and a school aged child I really appreciate the fact that I can coordinate all of their bedding to make their rooms work regardless of how many times I have to rearrange them.  Here is the Pink and Green Jungle Baby girl bedding, Toddler Bedding, and kids bedding sets.

As much as I love the girls style, my absolute favorite style is the Jungle Time Children & Kids Bedding Set.  Besides being adorable, it matches the theme of Co's room perfectly.

When I first saw the bedding I thought it would just be a printed design, but each square is embroidered and sewn together.  Co doesn't actually use his bear bed yet - we use it as an extra for when we need to separate the girls - but he loves to sit on it and feel the different materials (i.e. microsuede, courdoroy, etc.)

7. Leo Wall Stickers - Under the Sea Mini Kit Review and Giveaway

I love May. To me it means nice weather. mothers day,the end of a school year, and spring cleaning. It might sound crazy, but I love going through the house and cleaning stuff out. It's the perfect chance to redecorate and make little changes in a room that make a big difference.

One of the easiest ways to make a change is Vinyl wall decals from LeoWall Stickers.

Leo Stickers is an Italian based company that specializes in fun and easy to apply kids wall stickers.  All you do is put the sticker on a clean, dry wall, and use the plastic squeege to smooth out the bubbles.  After a few minutes you have a newly decorated room.  You can check out step by step information here!

We received an Under the Sea Mini Kit, and my kids love them!  The kit contains

We have vinyl clings in both kids bedrooms, and in our bathroom and the Leo Stickers were by far the easiest to apply.  They went right on without any problem, and the included Squeege made it easy to work out the bubbles.

We placed ours over our bathroom shower  to carry on the Aquatic Theme we have going on.  I think they look adorable.

8. Wuggle Pets

May is officially birthday month in our house, so to celebrate I'm going to introduce you to some great gifts for kids.  Today's gift idea is Wuggle Pets.

Wuggle Pets are little mini stuffed animals that kids can stuff themselves.

The starter kits retail for $19.99 and come with 2 animals and all the necessary stuffing.

All you have to do is hook the wiggle pet to the front of the machine, and then put the stuffing and sprinkles in the top.

Then you twist the crank until the pet fills up.  Then you give them a name and a personality, and zip up the back.

My girls thought it was so fun to create their pets.  They thought it was so fun to watch them fill up and give them secret personalities.  But their very favorite part was naming them and clicking them to their backpacks.  Here we have Pixie Dust the Dog, and Sassy Pants the Unicorn.

To Buy - The Wuggle Pet starter kit retails for $19.99 and contains
  • Cuddly Puppy And Magical Unicorn Pets With Clip Attached
  • 1 Fun Filled Factory
  • 2 Bags of Fluffy Stuffing
  • 12 Personality Charms Pet Pet
  • 2 Bags of Magic Dust
  • 2 Birth Certificates
  • 1 Zipper-Up Tool

The Party Pack retails for $49.99 and also contains the Funny Monkey, Sunny Bunny, Earful Elephant, Playful Pony, Clever Raccoon, and the Bashful Bear. Check out wugglepets.com for more info!

9. Veggie Tales: Robin Good & His Not So Merry Men DVD Review and Giveaway

If you're looking for a good show to watch with your family this weekend check out Bob and Larry's newest feature - Veggie Tales: Robin Good.

In the Movie - A long time ago, in the faraway town of Bethlingham, roved a band of merry men, led by the fearless Robin Good. Their mission: to help people by fundraising from the rich and giving to the poor! But when a greedy Prince starts stealing the townspeople’s hams, donations are down and Robin’s friends take off and decide to give robbing from the rich a try. Feeling rejected, Robin thinks things can't get any worse, until he finds out that the ham-hoarding Prince has also captured his friends. Can Robin overcome his own hurt, rescue his friends and restore the townspeople's hope? Find out in this fun Veggie story where kids learn that there's no hurt too big for God!

The DVD also features Lenny & the Lost Birthday - Will someone, anyone, remember Lenny’s special day? How could it be misplaced – or is it just his mistake?!

This DVD is super fun. It kicks off with the Lenny and the Lost Birthday Short, and then goes into the Robin Hood story. The short is a great way to introduce kids to leap year. And I love the plunger wielding Larry (aka Robin Good) and his lemonade selling Merry Man. My very favorite thing about the DVD is that the Silly Song is and ode to Bubble Wrap.

To Buy - Robin Good & His Not So Merry Men has a list price of $14.97, but is available right now on Amazon for $9.73. It's a fun addition to the Veggie Tales Library.

On another note Veggie Tales also has a fun new app - "Step-by-Story® presents VeggieTales: Larry’s Missing Music! The latest reading readiness mobile app from Playful Owl. Larry thinks everything is better with music and we agree! Join Larry and his friends as they create silly instruments that make silly sounds. With Step-by-Story, a child as young as two years old can create his/her own short story through a series of simple choices. The app automatically turns the choices into an animation that can be shared with Mom and Dad. Each title includes over 500 possible story combinations and is currently available for $2.99."

To Win - How about a Robin Good Veggie Tales DVD for one of you!

10. Xia Xia DS Game Review and Giveaway

It's been one of those crazy weeks when I have meant to write a bunch of posts but life got in the way.  Hopefully we'll be able to play catch up the next few days.

Yesterday we had a surprise trip to the doctor for Bid and a school bully incident with Kik.  After a long long day Kik and I sat down together and played her new favorite game on the DS - Xia Xia.

The Xia Xia DS game was developed around the fun Xia Xia toys.  In the game players explore 25 different levels set in 5 unique worlds.  The point of the game is to collect starfish and find missing friends and shells so you can move on to the next world.

Kik is almost 6 and this is the first side scrolling platform game she has ever played.  The controls are pretty basic.  It only requires two buttons (jump and snap) and the arrow buttons for game play.  Even though it was pretty basic I didn't know if it would be up her alley - she's usually more into makeover games.

She loved it!  She thought it was so fun to explore the worlds and search for the missing crab shells.  Her quote  "Okay. this game is so fun because you get to do stuff.  Like pick your character...."

The true testament of how much she loved the game was the fact that she played for over an hour.  She only paused long enough eat dinner before she was at it again.

I liked that she could play the game almost completely by herself.  It was her first platform game so I did have to play with her initially, but she didn't need much help once I got her started.  I also like that there were no bad guys for her to fight.

To Buy - The Xia Xia DS Game was released by GameMill Entertainment and Black Lantern Studios and has a SRP of $19.99.  It's definitely worth checking out if you have young kids!

To Win - GameMill Entertainment is giving away a fun Xia Xia Prize Pack to one of you.  The prize Pack will contain 2 randomly selected Xia Xia toys and the Xia Xia Ds Game!

11. Baby Zoo Sleep Trainer Momo Alarm Clock Review

Bid wakes up a a lot at night - and I mean a lot a lot.  She has no sense of time and always climbs in our bed and wants us to turn on the tv.  It doesn't matter what time it is, or how long she's been asleep she wants to watch our tv.

I hate it!  Between Bid and Baby Co I rarely get a full night of sleep.  Baby Zoo has created a great product to help parents like me and kids like Bid - The Momo Alarm Clock.

The Baby Zoo Sleep Trainer Momo Alarm Clock functions like a regular alarm clock, but is specifically designed to help little kids know when to wake up.  The monkey closes it's eyes during the nighttime hours, and opens it's eyes when it's time for little ones to wake up.

Another fun feature is that you can have the alarm set to a fun jungle sound or even turn off the volume completely.  This is great because I don't necessarily want to wake Bid up early, but I do want her to know when it's okay to wake me up.

The Momo is also a good alarm clock for school aged children because it has an analog clock and a digital clock.  Since Kik is just learning to tell time, it's a great way to help her practice.

The clock features
  • Analog & digital clock;
  • Opening/closing eyes at your preferred time;
  • Kids Alarm Clock with jungle alarmsound, with adjustable volume (can switch off completely);
  • Nightlight, automatically shuts down after 30 seconds.
To Buy - The  Baby Zoo Sleep Trainer Momo Alarm Clock retails for $39.99 from Kastel International and is a great option for kids.  They also have a fun Gus nightlight and Coco digital music player that are perfect for helping kids with their nighttime routines.

For more info and special offers you can also check out Kastel International on Facebook.

12. Pediped - Originals Adrian Chocolate Brown Shoes Review

Both my girls could crawl by the time they were 4 and a half months and walk by the time they were 9 months. Baby Co is 6 months old and a bit behind.  He doesn't crawl so much as scoot.  He does a sort of push up, sticks his bum high in the air, and pushes backwards on his tippy toes.  As hard as he tries he just can't seem to go forward.  It's super cute, but his legs and feet are always getting stuck under couches and doors.

Because of this what Co wears (or doesn't wear) on his feet is very important.  With bare feet he gets scratched up.  Socks are slippery.  And most shoes fall off his sausage feet easily - which means he either has bare feet or slippery socks all of the time.  One of my very favorite brands of shoes for transitioning babies are Pedipeds.

Co has the Original Adrian Chocolate Brown Shoes and I absolutely love them.

Pediped Originals have skid-resistant leather soles perfect for young kids like Co that are learning to walk or crawl.  The shoes are flexible and don't get in the way when Co pushes off his tippy toes.

But my very favorite thing about the shoes is that they stay on his feet!   I don't know if it's the shape of the shoe or the velcro, but they've never fallen off.

All of the Pediped Originals line of shoes feature
  • All Natural Leather Sole
  • New Diamond Patterned Tread
  • 2 Layers of Leather plus soft foam insert for protection

To Buy - The Originals Adrian - Chocolate Brown shoes retail for $33.00, and are a great buy!  For more information and special deals check out Pediped on Facebook and Twitter!

13. Summer Infant - Story Time Potty

One of the "transitional" stages that I find the most frustrating is potty training.  With Bid it's been the bane of my existence.

Our potty training journey started last summer when she decided that sitting on the potty was fun.  She would sit on it every morning till she went, and she was so proud of herself.  She wouldn't sit on it later in the day, but we were happy with a baby step.  Then we decided to see what would happen if we let her wear undies all day.  She had so many accidents and absolutely hated it.  In one afternoon Bid went from using the potty regularly to refusing to even get her diaper changed.

Over the last couple of months we've been working on trying to get her more comfortable.  We've had a potty party, tried different reward tactics, all with no result.  We decided to try and make potty time more fun with a new potty from Summer Infant - The Story Time Potty.

The Story Time Potty is a cute frog potty designed to keep little ones entertained. All you have to do is push a button and the potty actually reads a story to the potty trainee.

For the first time in month, Bid has shown in interest in the potty again. She loves to sit down and listen to the Freddie Frog Story. She still doesn't go all the time, but there has been a definite improvement.

Bid has had a few different potties and she thinks that this one is by far the most comfortable. She doesn't get weird lines on her legs when she sits on it for too long.

To Buy - As a mom I love this potty. It's easy to clean and wipe up.  Also the bottom of the potty isn't open, so there are no "accidents".  The potty also features.
  • Built-in splash guard for boys
  • Removable trainer with handles keeps the training process going when transitioning to the adult potty
  • Base of potty can be used as a step stool
I would definitely recommend it!  For more information on this or any other Summer Infant Product, you can also check out their facebook or twitter pages.

14. Incredibed Fuzzy Brown Bear Review and Giveaway

When we had Baby Co we swore that he wasn't going to sleep in our bed.  Kik didn't sleep through the night till she was 3 and Bid still comes in our bed all of the time.  At this point my husband and I are willing to try anything to get her to stay where she belongs.

When I saw Incredibeds I thought they might be a perfect solution.

Incredibeds are plush characters that have been transitioned into safe kids beds. There is a T-Rex, a Dog, a pink kitty, and two colors of bears.

There is no wood or metal for the kids to bump into on an Incredibed. The mattress and base rest on the floor and then the Incredibed actually zips up around the mattresses. This is great because the bed sits a bit lower and is safer if kids fall out of their bed at night.

We received a fuzzy brown bear and it is adorable!

To set it up all we did is take the mattress off the bedframe and rest it on the floor. Then we took the pieces of Incredibed and zipped them together.

There are 4 sections that need to be zipped together - 2 sides, the head, and the sheet set.  I love that the bed comes in 4 sections.  If Bid has any "accidents" it will make clean up so much easier. (Did I mention that each piece fits in a standard size washer and dryer)

Our mattresses are from Ikea so they are a bit smaller than a standard twin. But it still looks great!

Because we are planning on using our Incredibed for a toddler, we also decided to get the Toddler Zipper Bumper Sheet.

The Toddler Bumper Set zips up in place of the normal sheet set. but has a place to insert foam bumpers for added safety.  This combined with the height and plushness makes the Incredibed a great toddler bed - especially if your toddler is having a hard time transitioning.

Bid was SO excited when we set up her bed.  She thought it was the coolest thing ever.

She's been sleeping in it for about a week now, and I can honestly say that it has made a difference.  With the arms wrapped around her at night she doesn't wake up as often.  And there have been a few nights when she hasn't woken up at all!

15. Mumoocie Review and giveaway

My girls love to sleep in my bed. They like to lay on my arm, curled up right next to me. When one of them comes in at night our bed is a little squished. But when both of them get in bed with us it's truly awful. I've seriously contemplated leaving my bed in the middle of the night to sleep in theirs.  We tried having them sleep together, but Kik kicks and Bid pushes.  It's not good.

When I pitched for my event I heard about a pillow that was specifically designed for kids that have trouble sleeping alone - The Mumoocie.

The Mumoocie is a specially curved pillow that simulates the curve of the body.  It comes in 1 of 2 styles - High Quality Memory Foam or Fiber Filled.  Both pillows are 23 inches long x 9 inches wide x 6 inches thick. The Memory Foam Pillow is firmer but still really comfy.

Because the Memory Foam style is specifically recommended for toddlers we decided to get one and see if it would help Kik.

It is now an essential part of her bedtime routine - she loves to cuddle with it.

I am happy to say that in the few months that we have had it, she has only found her way into our bed once.  And the one time she slept with us, I found her mumoocie pillow on the floor the next morning.

The most helpful feature is probably the voice recorder that can be inserted into the pillow.  Every few weeks I record a new message so she can hear my voice.  I have no idea how may times she pushes it a night, but it still works!

To Buy - The Memory Foam Mumoocie retails for $85.99 but is currently on sale for just $39.99 on Mumoocie.net.  If you have a child that needs comfort and help sleeping at night, I would definitely check the Mumoocie out.  So far Kik and I both get a better night's sleep.
To Win - Mumoocie is giving a Memory Foam Pillow away to one of you!

16. Comfort & Harmony Mombo Pillow Review and Giveaway

Another product that has been a huge help with Baby Co the last few months is the Mombo.

The Mombo is a new double sided Firm2Soft nursing pillow from Kids II. One side of the Mombo is flat and firm which makes it perfect for feeding Baby Co, and the other is designed for baby lounging.

I received the Comfort & Harmony mombo in Pinehurst Deluxe Nursing Pillow a few months ago, and one of the very first things I noticed was that the curve of the pillow is a little bit narrower than other pillows I've had in the past. Since Co was just a newborn I thought it might be too small to fit my big belly. But that wasn't the case at all. The design actually helped the pillow stay put and not slip.

I love that while I am feeding Baby Co the plush side goes against my legs while the flat surface is on top. This makes it easier to position and support Baby Co while nursing.

The soft side of the pillow is extra comfy. The material is soft and plush, and Co loves to use it for tummy time. Another fun feature is that there is actually a vibrator that can be inserted or removed from the pillow for extra soothing.

I am also very grateful that my cover comes off and is machine washable. Babies are dirty and I've had to wash it multiple times. It's never stretched or shrunk and it comes out of the dryer just as soft as it went in.

To Buy - The Comfort & Harmony Mombo Pillow I received retails for $49.99 and can be purchased at Babies R Us.

To Win - Kids II is giving away a Comfort & Harmony™ mombo™ Deluxe Pillow in the Taggies™ Fashion to one of you.

17. Wonder Bumpers from Go Mamma Go Designs.

As most of my readers know, I have 3 kids - a 5 month old, a two year old, and a kindergartener.  Right now all of them are going through a transitional period, learning and growing every day.  Baby Co is learning to crawl, sit, and eat like a big boy.  Kik is learning to read and fend for herself in a school environment.  And Bid is learning to use the potty, control her emotions, and be a big girl in general.  Because of this, I thought it would be fun to have an event that highlighting products geared towards these transitional stages.

The first product I want to tell you about are Wonder Bumpers from Go Mamma Go Designs.

All of my children have had the same crib.  It's  in good condition and pleasant to look out, but I still have problems with it.

When Kik was 4 and a half months she would scoot backwards and get her leg caught in between the bars.  She would try to get out herself and would end up with a scraped leg.  With Bid we were ready for the problem and put up a traditional bumper fir a short time.  But because it decreased airflow and made it so she could pull herself up, we quickly took it out.

I didn't want to deal with either problem with Baby Co, so I started looking for solutions on the internet.  After a little searching I found Wonder Bumpers and had to try them out for myself.

Wonder Bumpers are vertical crib bumpers that zip around each crib rail individually.

This leaves space between each rail for airflow, but padding for baby comfort.

 Wonder Bumpers feature
  • 100% Cotton
  • Poly-foam insert
  • Lead-free zipper
  • Machine or Hand Washable
  • And most styles are reversible
To use a Wonder Bumper all you have to do is fold it around the crib rail and zip up.  Most of the styles are reversible so you can rotate the pattern to suit your taste.

Because it matches the color of the room perfectly, we went with the Blue Damask.

To break up the pattern I decided to alternate the solid side and blue damask print.  I love it!  It's smooth and silky, and it looks so fancy!

Because my crib rails are all d

18. Sidekick 2 in 1 Diaper Bag & Baby Carrier Review and Giveaway

Before we had Baby Co my husband always said he hoped our next child was fat and lazy. Co just had his 4 month appointment and was 16lbs 3 0z. He is officially in 6-9 month clothes, so I would say my husband got his wish. He's not really fat, just big and lazy. He doesn't mind laying down if you are talking to him, but would prefer to be held all the time.

Carrying my big boy and all of his stuff these past few months has been good exercise. Baby's need a lot of stuff and it's all heavy! But as much as I would love to carry him whenever and wherever I go, I also have a 2 year old and a 5 year old to lug around. I needed an extra pair of hands, and quick.

Then the Sidekick Bliss came into my life.

At first it looks like an attractive but ordinary diaper bag, but it is so much more than that! It's a diaper bag and baby carrier in 1.   I enlisted the help of my husband and 2 year old to show you how it's done.

First you secure the diaper bag around your waist - kind of like a fanny pack.  Then you unzip the top and roll out the sling.

You can then put your little one in the sling and slide the strap over your shoulder.

The top of the diaper bag provides a perfect seat for your little one, and the diaper bag section is still accessible.  All of the baby gear is easier to carry, and it frees up one or two hands!

It works better for Baby Co who isn't quite so big and heavy, but we have actually used it for our almost 3 year old Bid when she was being especially naughty in the store.  She thinks its fun.

If you took away the baby carrier aspect of the Sidekick I would still love it as a diaper bag.  I love the look and the style.  I love the magnetic clasp as it keeps things tightly closed.  And it holds way more stuff than any of the diaper bags I had with previous children.  I love it!

To Buy - The Sidekick Bliss from GoGoBabyz is a 2 in 1  Diaper Bag / Baby Carrier.  It retails for $120 but is currently on sale for $110.  It comes in gray, yellow, and pink, and works for a baby up to 35 lbs.  That's a lot of years of use!  I would highly recommend this product!
