When a pig tries seducing you...just let it!
Having an affair with the chocolate.
Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa
Men have named you
You're so like the lady with the mystic smile
Is it only cause you're lonely
They have blamed you
For that Mona Lisa strangeness in your smile
Do you smile to tempt a lover, Mona Lisa
Or is this your way to hide a broken heart
Many dreams have been brought to your doorstep
They just lie there, and they die there
Are you warm, are you real, Mona Lisa
Or just a cold and lonely, lovely work of art

I've been experimenting with a new style that incorporates my pencil sketches into the final illustration, instead of creating it all digitally. This is a new piece done in that style, based on this quote from Mo Willems:
"A lot of people think of ideas as objects or animals that you hunt. You go into the woods, you find an idea, you capture it, and you bring it home. And ideas really are more like gardens. And every day, you're planting lots and lots of ideas. Some of them get eaten by birds, and never go anywhere. Some of them grow up to be really horrible things. Some wither and die. Every now and then, over time, some idea grows up to be big and beautiful and filled with fruit."
What I did on the right is a remake of one of my painting from way back. Hmm...my style has changed a great deal! :-/
When reading is the most important part of the day :)
Trusting Disney’s undeniable storytelling abilities and Burton’s magnificent filmmaking, I’m sorry to admit that I had never even bothered reading Lewis Carroll’s actual book; Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Upon reading the book however, I have been hooked on Carroll’s brilliant imagination. The word, “muchness” I found greatly interesting to draw. I know I left out many exciting characters; it doesn’t have that much muchness! J

Since tomorrow I'll be too busy with the whole moving business to post anything, I'll go ahead and submit this a day earlier. Happy V day everyone! :)
We are on the move...again...
For the longest night there is...in the memory of my late grandma and her unforgettable stories :)
"Aaaah! The good ol' days!" He sighed...
I was trying to create something interesting with a vintage feel to it! Though the date on the photo is indicating that it was taken not long ago! Still these days will be our past someday! :)
Phew!
Finally! My second completed book project is out in the open! :)
My passion for baking goods and illustration! Mix them together and here's the result! :)
