It was one of those days/weeks, with pouring rain outside, we needed a little pick-up inside, so... we went camping. I might recommend baked S'MORES. 350 for about 5 mins, nicely melted and setting up the tent inside. Why not?

It took us awhile to get the hang of this and it was a little messy. Easy to clean-up but still messy. The easiest way we found to fill the balloon was putting the lentils in a small water bottle first, blow up the balloon slightly, put it on the end of the bottle neck and shake the lentils in. Three balloons is a good idea, when covering them watch out, they can be easy to rip with fingernails, three layers seems to be pretty sturdy.

Our hike today got a better offer from Jen and kids in the form of frogging. Frogging? you may ask yourselves...check it out:
And Jen is the queen frogger, seriously impressive, elbows deep in slime, picking up frog's eggs, and tadpoles of all sizes then swallowing them raw - ok, just kidding on that. It was very educational and a big, live frog was even snagged - see above.

oh and listen here free - "Frog went a-courtin', and he did ride, Uh-huh" - performed by Bruce Springsteen himself.
The eggs - also called frog spawn - awesome.
The littlest of the little ones
The amazing morphers (have since been released unharmed)
No frogs at any life stage were harmed in the activity, it was an amazing look at life. Thanks Jen.Books

You are the greatest MOM. Smores are sounding so yummy...
Ummm....s'mores. That sounds so good right now!
Yum... I think this is just what the Dr. ordered. (Okay, my doctor told me to lose weight... not to eat s'mores, but what does he know?)
What a great idea. When you cook them in the microwave the marshmellow gets all puffy then chewy stiff and the chocolate doesn't have time to melt. I think I'll try that sometime :)
We are so gonna have to try that. My kids would die for anything sugar! But we have no tent...maybe a couple of chairs and a blanket would suffice? Smores, here we come.
Wish I could of had this for breakfast, seriously.
Also dropping by to tell you, your site is featured on Facebook Fan Fridays today :)
Yummy! Who needs to wait for rain to enjoy those!? So much fun!
